OttoDash terms of service
These terms are an agreement between ZET Studios Inc. ("ZET") and the company that signs up for OttoDash ("you"). The person accepting them confirms they can bind that company. A signed order or agreement with ZET takes priority over these terms where they differ.
1. The service
OttoDash helps your finance team reconcile and review accounting data. It reads data from systems you connect and produces results, drafts and import files. It does not post to your accounting system, send messages or move money; your people review and decide. OttoDash is a tool, not accounting, tax or legal advice, and you remain responsible for your books and filings.
2. Accounts
Your admins decide who can use OttoDash and with which role. Keep sign-in accounts secure and tell us promptly about unauthorised use. You're responsible for what happens under your company's accounts.
3. Trial, subscription and payment
- New companies get a free trial (normally 30 days). After it ends, continued use needs a paid subscription; until then your company can still view and export its data but can't make changes.
- Subscriptions are billed in advance, monthly unless your order says otherwise, through our payment processor. Prices exclude applicable taxes.
- You can cancel at any time from Settings; the subscription runs to the end of the paid period. Fees already paid aren't refunded unless the law requires it.
4. Your data
You own your data. You give ZET permission to host, process and display it only to provide and support OttoDash for you, as described in the privacy policy. You're responsible for having the right to connect the systems and data you bring in. You can export your data at any time and delete your company from Settings.
5. Acceptable use
Don't use OttoDash to break the law or anyone's rights, try to access another company's data, probe or overload the service, or resell it without our agreement.
6. Our responsibilities
We'll provide OttoDash with reasonable care and skill, protect your data as described on our security page, and tell you without undue delay if we learn of a breach affecting your data. We may improve and change features; we won't materially reduce core functionality during a paid period without notice.
7. Third-party services
OttoDash connects to services such as NetSuite, Shopify, Amazon, Stripe, PayPal, Microsoft and Google. Their availability, data and terms are outside our control.
8. Warranties and liability
Except as stated in these terms, OttoDash is provided "as is". Results depend on the data you provide and should be reviewed before use. To the extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential losses, and ZET's total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Ending
Either party may end these terms if the other materially breaches them and doesn't fix it within 30 days of notice. You can stop at any time by cancelling and deleting your company. After the account ends, we delete your data as described in the privacy policy.
10. General
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and the courts of British Columbia have jurisdiction. We may update these terms; for a material change we'll give admins at least 30 days' notice. Questions: hello@zetstudios.ca.
